Academic Marketing
For PGW clients publishing academic titles, the
Perseus Academic Website is
a practical and convenient way for professors and other academics to learn about
their titles and select books for inclusion in their courses, school libraries,
etc. They can easily explore the academic subject areas and discover featured
books, browse through new and classic titles for course needs, search books by
specific authors or key topics, view tables of contents and book reviews, and
request free examination copies for further course adoption consideration. Tools
for publishers to market their academic titles are included on the site as well.
There are also over a dozen
academic conferences
listed on the site that Perseus and PGW staff attend annually. In addition, the
Academic Marketing department produces a growing number of subject catalogs each
year.
